Cessna 172Course Outline:

  • Learning the airplane.
  • Improving control.
  • Polishing takeoffs and landings.
  • Preparing for the solo flight.
  • Getting ready for cross-country flying.
  • Flying at night.
  • Preparing for the final exam.

Course Scheduling: Training will be conducted on an individual basis. The student will be required to schedule a minimum of two lessons per week. American Wings Aviation’s aircraft and instructors can be scheduled 7 days a week sunrise to sunset. Lab time and expanded briefings will be scheduled appropriately with respect to ground training progress. Classrooms and lab rooms are open daily.

Requirements for Private Pilot Certificate:

  • Be at least 17 years old.
  • Speak and understand English.
  • Pass a basic medical exam.
